Recently, Norman and Susan Lenz of Houston, TX, have come to the decision Comal Classic Custom Homes, Inc. is the right builder for them. Since the planning stages we have worked side by side to develop a home that fits their needs. Through a rigorous bidding process, Comal Classic Custom Homes once again proved that customer interaction is what sets us apart from other builders. Norman explains this best, ”you went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. When building a custom home there is an overwhelming number of options in front of you. The questions you asked and the time you spent with us touring homes, or looking at the many “style” options displayed in your show room, made us confident that you care as much about what goes in our home as we do. We realize that a builder that cares about their homeowners is something worth value and we greatly appreciate that. We are proud to be the future owners of a Comal Classic Custom Home.”

The Lenz Residence is roughly 8700 sqft of framed area. The relatively open floor plan has an extremely large Great Room with “vaulted” ceiling and large wooded truss to separate it from the large Foyer. From the Great Room to the Kitchen you find two large, rock columns supporting a large wood truss spanning nearly 20 feet. The kitchen has 2 large islands, one of which has a rock front facing the Great Room. Again, you see 2 large rock columns, at either side of the back wall, with a rock arch spanning across upper cabinets and centered double ovens. There are 3 Bedrooms, a Study and a Craft room along with 3.5 baths. The Master Bedroom has a stepped ceiling with inlaid 1×6 stained wood. The 3 car garage has a 1000 sqft Porte Cochere attached to it with stone “wing walls” and 3 arched entries.

The exterior of the home is composed of natural field stone, gathered from the property which the home is located, cement fiber board siding and a Terracotta metal roof.

Construction should start in the coming week! Look for pictures of this exceptional home to be on the website in the near future!

We are proud to announce the completion of the “Preda Residence” in River Chase just outside of New Braunfels. The Preda Residence has over 5000 sqft of framed area. The home has a wide, 2 story layout with the exterior appeal of a traditional Texas Hill Country home, yet the addition of random exterior bricks give it some what of an Italian/Old World look. The interior of the home has custom clear Alder cabinets, tile and wood throughout and several other features that set it apart from most homes in the region. Look for several pictures of this gorgeous home to be in our gallery in the coming days!
